LX Detectors also have an easy Pet Alley adjustment capability, selectable sensitivity and pulse counter, very strong Sunlight & RFI Immunity, integrated photocell, and a Form C relay output. Normal outdoor passive infrared detectors frequently produce false alarms begun by sunlight. But, OPTEX's LX-402/802 uses Double Conductive Shielding which can resist more than 50,000 lux of sunlight (for example, during sunrises and sunsets).
