Edwards AdaptaBeacon Rotating Strobe Light 97R-EK Overview
The Edwards 97 Series AdaptaBeacon Heavy Duty strobe lights aredesigned for use where more frequent and longer lasting signalingcycles may be required. A series of complementing fresnels causethe dome to "fill" with light each time the strobe flashes. Beamdistance is also increased with external fresnel lenses. Thesestrobes are also available in "double flash" versions that double theapparent strobe on-time (50 double flashes per minute).The 97 Series' trigger and timing circuits are included as integralparts of the power supply. Replacement costs are reduced as it isnecessary to replace only the strobe tube.Designed for indoor or outdoor installation. May be direct or 3/4"(19mm) conduit mounted on any plane. However, verticalinstallation ensures maximum beam width projection. Forweatherproof installations units must be mounted vertically withdome up. May be corner mounted using the Cat. No. CBR, cornermount bracket, or wall mounted using the Cat. No. WBR, wall mountbracket. See AdaptaBeacon Accessories, page 3-118.The 97 Series is also ideally suited for installations where highambient light levels make traditional rotating or flashing lightsdifficult to distinguish. The gasketed weatherproof design assuresinstallation acceptability in most industrial and commerciallocations. Often used on forklifts, overhead cranes, and repairvehicles.
